Overview
Travelling down the untrodden path usually creates the most wonderful of memories. One of the treks in this tour is to the historic ‘3 Temple Loop’ in the Kandy area and this is followed by a Cultural Show- an element that will add glamour to the tour. After visiting the most photogenic 9-arch bridge, you will be able to visit the Dambana village- home to Sri Lanka’s native ‘Vedda’ tribe, who to this date reside there.
National Wildlife Parks, the famous Sinharaja Forest and the Dutch-influenced Galle Fort are some of the other stunning places you will have the opportunity to visit. The Tour Package Sri Lanka culminates with a Flat-Water Rafting spree on the Kithulgala River.

Detail Itinerary
NEGOMBO – PINNAWALA – KANDY
Day 01
- Pickup from Bandaranaike International Airport and proceed to Kandy.
- On the way visit the Pinnawala elephant orphanage.
- In Kandy visit the famous temple of the Tooth relic.
KANDY
Day 02
- After breakfast go on a walk to see the Western Shrines that are nearly 700 years old.
- You will be visiting Gadaladeniya Rock Temple, Lankathilake Blue Temple and Embekke Wooden Temple while taking trough beautiful scenery.
- Overnight in Kandy.
KANDY – KNUCKLES
Day 03
- After early breakfast a visit to the Knuckles mountain range.
- The Knuckles Range consists of the Knuckles massif, the Knuckles range and the Knuckles peaks. There are 35 peaks rising to more than 3000 feet (915 m) in the Knuckles range.
- Overnight in the mountain cottage tucked away in a remote village.
KNUCKLES
Day 04
- Trek from Corbett’s Gap to Meemure, Yakagala (Devil’s Rock), Nitre Cave in Knuckle’s mountain range this ‘hard’ trek of about 8-9 hours, will take the whole day.
- Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
KNUCKLES – MAHIYANGANAYA
Day 05
- After breakfast leave to Mahiyanganaya.
- On the way pass the precipitous 18 hairpin bends, and the beautifully terraced paddy fields of Minipe.
- In Mahiyanganaya you will get the opportunity to visit Sri Lanka’s indigenous inhabitants, the Veddas or Wanniyela Aettho (‘forest-dwellers’) as they call themselves.
- Also visit the Mahiyanganaya dagaba, one of the classic Buddhist shrines in Sri Lanka.
- Overnight in Mahiyanganaya.
MAHIYANGANAYA – BADULLA – ELLA
Day 06
- After breakfast leave to Ella through Badulla.
- Drive through scenic remote countryside passing beautiful paddy fields, lakes, reservoirs and mountain passes.
- Overnight at Ella
ELLA
Day 07
- An early morning hike to the Ella rock.
- After lunch visit the famous 9 arch bridge.
- Overnight at Ella.
ELLA– UDAWALAWE – DENIYAYA
Day 08
- After breakfast leave to Udawalawe for a Jeep safari.
- After the Jeep safari proceed to Deniyaya for overnight stay.
DENIYAYA – SINHARAJA– BENTOTA
Day 09
- An early morning walk through the forest of Sinharaja.
- Then proceed to Bentota for overnight stay.
BENTOTA
Day 10
- Relax in the beach.
BENTOTA – GALLE – COLOMBO
Day 11
- After breakfast leave to Colombo.
- On the way visit the Galle fort.
- Overnight at Colombo
COLOMBO – KITULGALA – COLOMBO
Day 12
- After early breakfast leave to Kitulgala for a session of white water rafting and waterfall climbing.
- Return to the hotel in Colombo for overnight stay.
COLOMBO – AIRPORT
Day 13
- Transfer to airport.
